Gender equality is good for business and provides substantial and enduring benefits to society and its stakeholders. All organisations should have an embedded culture of gender equality and accompanying systems and structures in place that enhance and promote gender equality.
Gender, in work, family and other interests and responsibilities  should predominantly be irrelevant in modern society although corrective short term actions may be required to correct historical inbalances.
Systems, structures, practices, norms, expectations or biases that favour one or other gender, whether in work or personal interests, over the other, are inherently flawed.
